When a Man Carries Himself Before God

A biblical word for the midlife man who is angry, disappointed, and tired of how life is going.

This does not appeal or resonate to all men in midlife. In fact, it could never. In my own midlife journey I’ve had the opportunity to understand and appreciate perspectives, through therapeutic conversations, with midlife men (40-60 years). This has enabled a pull-together article. The article represents a reflection on anger, frustration, marriage, and a deeper call to trust Christ. Even I, while supporting men through midlife, undergo and process through these life transitions. You aren’t alone.
